Counts by is what's on the shelf. Order unit is how you buy it. Pack is how many count units come in one order unit. When the two units differ, the Count tool automatically gives the team two number pads — cases and eaches — and adds them up.
Needs fixing = pack is more than 1 but both units say the same thing. That can't be right.
Active = carried at both stores. Retired = switched off at one store or both. All shows everything.
Vendor PAR now carries its own unit. Say 40 case for Monster, 8 EA for Dasani — whichever way you'd actually say it. The line underneath reads it back both ways, so a wrong unit is obvious.
